After spending half a decade in New York City, studying patternmaking at FIT and playing muse to designers Maryam Nassir Zadeh and Mansur Gavriel, Brazilian model Mari Giudicelli launched her namesake footwear label in 2015. Produced by family-owned factories in her native Brazil, Giudicelli’s handcrafted designs reflect her dedication to fine leatherwork and artisanship. The designer’s range of minimal shoes offers contemporary iterations of classic silhouettes, emphasizing wearability and versatility. Luxe textiles including lush suede, lizard skin, and pony hair, and unexpected details such as rabbit fur lining capture the eccentric elegance of vintage styles. Menswear-inspired loafers, simple slip-on sandals, and low-heeled pumps offer easy refinement, while mules and ballerina-style heels provide feminine polish.
