Chiyome

Quality, inquiry, balance, austerity, and intuition. These are the values of Chiyome, designer and former Project Runway contestant Anna Lynett Moss’ line of handbags devoted to considered and conscientious design. Founded in 2012 and named after Moss’ Japanese great-grandmother, Chiyome aspires to find beauty in functionality. Minimalist totes, clutches, and shoulder bags made of vegetable-tanned leather and industrial materials like wood, marble, and copper have structured shapes inspired by art, architecture, and furniture. All of Chiyome’s bags are designed and made in New York City with materials sourced from local suppliers.
