Parisian design institute Studio Berçot, French jewelry designer Charlotte Chesnais worked nearly a decade under Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga and collaborated extensively with Kenzo, Kitsuné, and Paco Rabanne prior to the 2014 launch of her eponymous brand. Her simple yet evocative pieces obliterate the line between accessory and art – suggestive of fine sculpture, their abstract forms and balanced volumes look beautiful both on or off the body. Chesnais’ sinuous earrings and rings, handcrafted by expert artisans in sterling silver and gold vermeil and polished to a high shine, are made for a lifetime of adornment. With clean lines, timeless sophistication, and an innate capacity to complement a broad sartorial spectrum, their covetable status is sure to remain uncompromised by fashion’s ever-shifting style standards.
