If you frequent high fashion nightlife events in New York, it’s almost a guarantee you've heard at least one AMS set. The group of DJ/producers, formerly known as Illuminati AMS, have done it all – from massive block parties with Fool’s Gold Records to intimate NYFW events with designer Astrid Andersen to Theophilus London's sophomore album launch. Nianga, Jaziah, and Demikey, who all hail from Amsterdam, also direct and score “Mirrors,” a short video portrait series that’s recently featured artists Harif Guzman and Willy Cartier. Add to that posing with Luka Sabbat, hanging with the inner circle of Kanye West's DONDA collective, and collaborations with 3.1 Phillip Lim, and you could say that AMS are keeping busy. The kicker? They were just announced as tour support for none other than Third Eye Blind. Expect a North American tour and debut album in 2016.

AMS’ mix for SSENSE is a smooth blend of cutting-edge and current bangers. The group pushes heavy hitters like West’s brand new “When I See It” and Drake’s “30 for 30 Freestyle,” all while integrating their own unreleased singles “Contemplating,” “Love You,” and “Places.” The final product is a personal snapshot of the streets of New York and what we’ll be listening to in the months to come.
