Drawing inspiration from a childhood surrounded by Indian culture and craftsmanship, designers Utharaa Zacharias and Palaash Chaudhary cofounded their San Francisco–based home goods label soft-geometry in 2019. As its name implies, soft-geometry is a combination of conventionally utilitarian forms and playfully delicate features. Modularity and carefully considered curvature take center stage across the brand’s selection of pastel-colored candles and lighting fixtures, while an emphasis on tactility is enhanced by a luxurious array of frosted and cream finishes that imbue each piece with a sense of whimsy. With its selection of quirky and multifunctional objects, soft-geometry provides a charming take on contemporary homeware.
