Ports 1961 began as an importer of luxury silks from Japan, founded in 1961 by Canadian entrepreneur Luke Tanabe. Inspired by the house’s roots in world travel and its ambitious expansion into nascent Asian markets, creative director Natasa Cagalj explores the confluence of disparate concepts, cultures, and sensibilities.
