Historic leather house Loewe was founded as a Madrid artisan cooperative in 1846, later consolidated into a pioneering luxury group by German entrepreneur Enrique Loewe Rossberg. By the 1960s its geometric accessories and futuristic ready-to-wear were pioneering a modernist European aesthetic, now being revived for the present day by creative director Jonathan Anderson. Since 2013, Anderson’s progressive vision has animated LOEWE’s menswear staples with a subtly transgressive energy. Biker jackets, striped knits, rethought shirting, and colorblocked leather accessories display perfected forms and an advanced color sense present a contemporary vision of masculinity.
