“I’ll need that report on my desk by EOD,” one kid was overheard telling another in boardroom number one. “Let’s check back in once the parents’ have visibility and all departments are aligned,” said another during a conference call. Corporate jargon came naturally to the children of SSENSE in Demna Gvasalia’s inaugural kid’s collection for Balenciaga. Running from meeting to meeting in their Speed Trainers at SSENSE HQ, they only took breaks to watch a quick episode of Paw Patrol on their iPads before getting back to business. Time is money. When motivated by the power of dreams—and the power of juice boxes—anything is possible.
