Mostly Heard Rarely Seen

The brainchild of Hong Kong designer Thomas “Thomakira” Li, Mostly Heard Rarely Seen presents a novel vision of Hong Kong and Tokyo street fashion. The designer, who always wears a mask in public and refuses to speak in interviews, prefers to let the creative process and the clothes themselves speak rather than engaging with celebrity culture. His colorful and highly graphic take on Eastern menswear combines directional prints, patchwork, and streetwear-influenced layering with modern riffs on workwear: emotive sweatshirts, lounge pants, patchwork denim, Western shirts, baggy shorts and leggings, parkas and work jackets.
