Californian designers Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock started sewing their first Vena Cava collection on their living room floor three weeks after graduating from the Parsons School of Design. With a slight vintage feel, Vena Cava is known for putting a fresh spin on classic looks and mixing them with an artsy palette. Based in Brooklyn, the design duo seeks to make simple, elegant and wearable clothing that illuminates the woman inside the outfit.
