About NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD

An apprenticeship under the legendary milliner Philip Treacy led London-based shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood to introduce his namesake line in 2005, out of a feeling that there was a void in the market for shoes with the same couture quality as the hats being produced by his mentor. His designs have quickly become known for their architectural yet fluid forms and intricate craftsmanship. Styles for both men and women employ high-grade materials from devore satin and hand painted suede and leather to python and shaved stingray.
