Marc Jacobs, designed his first collection with the Marc Jacobs label in 1986. He continued to produce independent collections typified by a feminine brand of effortless outsider cool while serving as Creative Director of Perry Ellis before joining Louis Vuitton in 1997. The diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs was created in 2001 and it continues to introduce new audiences to the latest trends from one of the world's most influential designers.
