British designer Gareth Pugh, a CSM's graduate and former intern for Rick Owens, began his eponymous label in London in 2006. Since, the forward-thinking designer has become associated with a dark, architectural aesthetic that associates fashion with performance, presenting collections that draw from his own life experiences.
