Chrome Canyon

Leading with a synth-heavy intro featuring Ghosts of Venice’s remix of Prince’s 1980 track Head, Chrome Canyon’s mix manifests entirely in this explosive philosophy, constructed with crisp layers of French house and fast-paced electro. The maximalist mix weaves between hits from Justice, Lemaître and Jupiter, and Chrome Canyon’s own remixes, including a high-speed version of Rizzle Kicks’ Traveller’s Chant and an edit of Klaxons’ As Above So Below.

Formerly one-half of New York glam-electro duo Apes & Androids, Brooklyn-native Morgan Z began remixing under the moniker Chrome Canyon in 2011, favoring an energetic, galactic sound that permeates his debut album, Elemental Themes released under Stones Throw Records in October 2012.
