Swims was founded by Norwegian-born Johan R, and began as a producer of "over-shoes," large structured rubber shells worn over boots and shoes to protect them from the elements. Since, the brand has developed into a contemporary footwear label specializing in boat shoes, moccasin-style loafers and boots meant to be versatile enough to wear on any occasion.
