About CARVEN

Created in 1945 by French couturier Madame Carven de Tommaso, Carven stands for a democratic vision of fashion. Madame Carven lived free from the conventions and shackles of the time and her style resembled the daily lives of ordinary women. She offered accessible luxury in designs that were simple and refined and inspired by Parisian chic not affected by ostentation. Now run by former Givenchy designer, Guillaume Henry, the house is known for its statement cocktail dresses, tailored trousers and simple wool coats.
